Govt. of India has launched “ Official app Indian Visa Su-Swagatam” (with earlier name “Su-Swagatham (Visit India)”) Mobile App to facilitate visitors intending to visit India. Russian nationals can use the options of the newly launched mobile app for visa facilitation. Through this, visitors would be facilitated with following visa related services:-
a) Apply for Visa-(Regular visa, e-Visa, Visa on arrival).
b) Online Foreigners Regional Registration Office (e-FRRO) services-
Apply e-FRRO Services (like visa extension, visa conversion, exit-permit etc. in India).
c) Check status- (i) Status of visa application.
ii) Status of e-FRRO applications.
d) Notification-Advisories/notifications by Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) and Bureau of Immigration (BoI).
e) Language Assistance-Signage and Language converter (multi languages).
f) Chatbot - Help centre for Applicant queries.
g) Nearby places-Foreigners would be facilitated in exploring nearby places like Tourist places, Govt. Agencies, transport services, Entertainment, health services, Religious places, Lodging, Boarding facilities, etc.
