The 10th International Day of Yoga - Irkutsk, Irkutsk Oblast

On 23rd June, Irkutsk hosted the celebration of the 10th International Day of Yoga. The organisers held three-hour yoga intensive - master classes experienced yoga teachers. The programme included dynamic and strength practices with guided music, a series of breathing techniques and the therapeutic practice of DRT (Deep Relaxation Technique). The event was opened with the use of singing bowls to begin the yoga and meditation sessions.
