The Consulate General of India in Vladivostok on May 2nd started the initiative of “50DaysToIDY2024” which marked the curtain raiser of 10th International Day of Yoga, the initiative continued during the month of June till 21st June, 2024(International Day of Yoga). Our partners conducted open classes every day, they included Traditional, Hatha yoga, Aeroyoga practices and Iyengar School of Yoga among others. The classes also placed emphasis on Meditation and Relaxation through Pranayama with Surya Namaskar(salutations to the sun) teaching the participants anatomy of movement.
In the month of June, seminar cum practical sessions on Yoga during menstrual cycle, for managing varicose veins and to maintain a healthy spine were held along with group activities that include Yoga in pairs and outdoor yoga sessions. The participants have shown great interest and our partners have taken ownership of the initiative. Please click on the link to view
