"Indian Summer" - Festival of Indian Dance

On 15 June, "Indian Summer" - Festival of Indian Dance was held at the Pushkin Theatre in Vladivostok with the support of the Consulate General of India, Vladivostok.

The Festival featured performances by leading groups of the Indian Dance Association of Russian Far East - Dosti Ensemble (Vladivostok), Aruna Studio (Nakhodka) and student groups from Far Eastern Federal University and others. The performances included Classical Dance performances in Bharatanatyam, Kathak and depiction of Ardhanareeswara and Nataraja in Classical Dance forms, and Folk dance performances like Bhangra and Garba among others and dance performances based on popular music and film music.

‘Indian Summer’ - Festival of Indian Dance was dedicated to Indian cinema and was warmly embraced by everyone and left a lasting memory on the guests and the performers.
