Inauguration of art exhibition "The Face of Bharata: I Found You, My India" at Primorye State Art Gallery

The Primorsky State Art Gallery, the Bureau of Creative Expeditions with the support of the Russian Foreign Ministry's representative office in Vladivostok and the Consulate General of India in Vladivostok opened an art exhibition - "The Face of Bharata: I Found You, My India"! The exhibition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Russia and the 150th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian artist Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich. The exhibition presents about 100 paintings by 30 artists from different regions of Russia, members of the Russian Academy of Arts, who took part in expeditions to India, including restoration work at the estate of Nicholas Roerich in Northern India. The exhibition will be presented in 22 cities of the Far East, Siberia and central Russia, providing a unique opportunity for the people of Russia to see India through these works of art, strengthening intercultural cooperation and friendly ties between our people.
